Technical Deep-Dive
Let’s get into the guts of it. This unit runs on 400V and packs a 2500W punch, all squeezed into a 300mm tube. That’s a lot of heat in a small package. It means you can hit your target temperature almost instantly. But, and this is important, that power also calls for a solid control strategy and proper cooling for the machine itself. The 300mm size is a smart move. It keeps the heat right where you need it, on the work. Less wasted energy. And it means the controller is dealing with less overall mass to heat up and manage.
Material & Design
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave halogen element, tucked inside a quartz envelope. This is the heart of the thing, chosen because it heats up fast and holds its output steady. The quartz has a reflective coating that does a great job of pushing all that energy forward, straight to the load. It cuts down on wasted heat that just floats off into nowhere. And for the connection? We went with an R7s connector. It’s industrial-grade, easy to wire up, and tough enough to handle the constant vibration of a busy shop floor.
