Making the System Think
We usually tie these heaters into hubs using Zigbee or Wi-Fi. This lets you break the floor into zones. A Few Things to Watch Out For
Now, you can’t just plug an industrial heater into a cheap smart plug from the hardware store. You’ll fry the circuit instantly. You need a smart controller that triggers a heavy-duty magnetic contactor to handle the actual power load. It’s a bit more work in the electrical panel, but it’s the only way to do it safely.
