The Inside Story
Under the hood, we went with a 400V electrical setup. Why? Because SIPA systems pull a lot of heat, and we wanted the lamp to keep up without losing power to line drop. The result is rock-solid energy density across the whole heating zone. The tube is 300mm long, which lines up perfectly with standard heating modules. That means it drops right in—no fuss, no rework.
Materials and Build
The tube is quartz, with a special coating that focuses the infrared energy and shields the filament. That coating keeps the output consistent and stands up to repeated heat cycles without cracking under thermal shock. And the R7s connector? It gives you solid, two-point contact that handles high current cleanly. It locks in fast, cuts down on arcing, and keeps power stable right to the ends—no hot spots.
What It Feels Like on the Floor
On a SIPA rotary machine, stable heat is what keeps throughput up and scrap down. With power that matches perfectly, the lamp gives you repeatable heat, so you stop chasing temperature swings. Installation is straightforward: wire it, set your parameters, and run. Here’s the trade-off, though: running at full rated power means high heat density, so your machine’s cooling and airflow need to be up to the task.
