The Problem with “Regular” Glass

A Quick Tip on Installation
When you’re wiring these in, pay attention to the connection points. That’s usually where things fall apart. Moisture loves to sneak into sockets. I always suggest using sealed connectors to keep corrosion away. If those contacts start to rust or oxidize, you get “arcing”—basically tiny electrical sparks. That spikes the heat and can pop the tube, no matter how good the quartz is. Stick with the quartz.
