The Gear Under the Hood
We use high-purity quartz glass because these things take a beating with rapid heating and cooling. Inside, the halogen cycle keeps the filament fresh, so the tubes actually last. Most of these use R7s or Sk15 connectors, so they snap right in. We also have coated options if you want to focus the infrared energy. It’s a smart move—it cuts down on wasted heat and keeps your oven from turning into a sauna.
Getting Them on the Floor
These are simple drop-in replacements. You pull the old tube, wire up the new one, and you’re back in business. No need to mess with the housing or rebuild anything. But a quick heads-up: if you decide to move to a higher power spec, you’re packing more heat into a small space.**Check your cooling fans.**If your airflow is clogged or too weak, you might fry your lamp sockets. Also, keep those contacts clean. Nobody wants to deal with arcing at the base.
